February 28 NewsNation Preview Of SCOTUS Arguments on Student Debt Relief

If They Were Just Calling Balls & Strikes, SCOTUS Would Uphold Student Debt Relief, But I'm Nervous

Yesterday morning, I was on NewsNation giving a preview of the Supreme Court arguments on the Student Loan cases. Although I believe that the Biden Administration should win on both process (because the plaintiffs do not have "standing" to sue) and substance (because the HEROES Act empowered the Secretary of Education to "waive or modify" regulations and requirements during a declared National Emergency), reporting on the oral argument speculates that the Republicans may succeed in blocking college student debt relief for millions.
