6-3 Decision Ends Fifty Years Of Jurisprudence

The Supreme Court (by a 6-3 vote) just eliminated race-based Affirmative Action in university admissions decisions. https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/22pdf/20-1199_hgdj.pdf

I was on NewsNation this morning giving my reaction on what happened and what comes next. One interesting footnote, at the request of the DOJ, this opinion does not cover admissions to the US military academies (West Point (Army), Annapolis (Navy) and Colorado Springs (Air Force)). The Court reserved for another day whether there are national security reasons that justify affirmative action to ensure that an Officer Corps that resembles America.
